Santa Ana : Motorcyclist Killed After Falling Into Traffic
A 19-year-old Whittier motorcyclist died Friday after he fell off his motorcycle and was run over by a truck on the Santa Ana Freeway, a CHP spokesman said.
The motorcyclist, James A. Carver, had been traveling south and was “splitting” lanes near the Costa Mesa Freeway interchange, said CHP officer Paul Caldwell. The accident occurred about 6:40 a.m.
Carver was dead on arrival at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
