Good Times Will Roll at Benefit
Lee Ferrell, former leader of the Righteous Brothers band, will perform at the Irvine Marriott on Tuesday to benefit University High in Irvine.
Righteous Brother Bill Medley--hot again with “The Time of My Life” theme song from the movie “Dirty Dancing” and sixth on the music charts--will also perform some of the duo’s big hits, including “Lovin’ Feeling,” selections such as “Sea Cruise,” in addition to some original compositions.
“We’re calling the show ‘Let the Good Times Roll,’ ” said Ferrell, whose son, Patrick, is a student at the high school. “And they’re going to roll with a full-on concert--on stage, with professional lighting, professional singers, dancers, 15 performers.”
Ferrell’s vocals will include “Let the Good Times Roll,” “La Bamba” and “All I Have To Do Is Dream.”
Show time is 8:30 p.m. For tickets at $15 each, telephone Chris Valli at (714) 552-1800.
