2 Others Die in Traffic Incidents
Two other people were killed this weekend in traffic accidents.
An elderly, unidentified woman was struck and killed Sunday night when she stepped in front of a car in Mission Viejo.
The woman--described as white, about 70 years old, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, wearing white slacks and a floral print blouse--was pronounced dead at Mission Hospital Community Medical Center in Mission Viejo shortly after she was struck by a northbound car on Muirlands Boulevard east of El Toro Boulevard at 5:50 p.m.
The driver of the car was not cited, police said.
Raymond Gary Williams, 52, died Sunday of injuries received Oct. 27 when he was struck by a car while jaywalking across Harbor Boulevard in Costa Mesa. The driver of the car that struck Williams was not cited.
