Special-teams player Eugene Robinson and quarterback Dave Krieg each ran for a touchdown late in the first half to erase a 13-7 Green Bay lead and the Seattle Seahawks went on to beat the Packers, 24-13, in a mistake-filled game Sunday.

Robinson scored after rookie Tony Burse blocked a punt by Green Bay’s Don Bracken. Robinson picked up the ball on the Green Bay eight and ran into the end zone with 2:08 left in the half.

The Seahawks made it 21-13 just 1:25 later when Krieg, unable to find a receiver on third-and-goal, scrambled in from the eight. The score was set up when Jacob Green sacked Green Bay quarterback Randy Wright, causing him to fumble, and Paul Moyer recovered the ball and returned it six yards to the Green Bay eight.

On the next-to-last play of the half, Joe Nash and Green sacked Wright again, this time knocking him out of the game with a sprained ankle.

“I didn’t see it, but someone fell on my ankle,” Wright said. “I was stuck in the pocket and got hit from behind.”

Wright completed 10 of 19 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown in the first half. His replacement, rookie Don Majkowski, a 10th-round draft choice from Virginia, was just 4 of 16 for 80 yards.

The Seahawks’ Curt Warner scored on a 57-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter for Seattle’s first points. With 123 yards rushing, Warner had his second 100-yard rushing game of the season.

The Seahawks improved to 6-3, while the Packers dropped to 3-5-1.

There were 10 turnovers in the game, 5 by each team, including 3 interceptions thrown by Krieg.

Green Bay scored a touchdown in the second quarter when Wright threw to Keith Paskett on a 47-yard play. The Packers’ other points came on field goals of 31 and 48 yards by Max Zendejas.

Norm Johnson of Seattle kicked a 24-yard field goal in the fourth quarter for the game’s only second-half points.

Warner’s 57-yard touchdown run was the second longest touchdown run in the 12-year history of the Seahawks.
