MARTINEZ, Calif. — A 23-year-old man wanted for violating probation was arrested at a high school where he had posed as a 15-year-old sophomore since September, according to officials.
“He enrolled fictitiously as a student, just like in the movie,” said Contra Costa County Chief Probation Officer Jerry Buck, referring to the movie “Hiding Out,” in which a young adult poses as a high school student.
Eric Lamont Peoples, known at Alhambra High School here as Eric Jaurique, was arrested Wednesday on three charges of violating his probation. He was on probation for petty theft, forgery and possession of stolen property.
