- San Diego schussboomers will have a chance to marvel once more at the action sequences captured by skiing’s master film maker, Warren Miller.

“White Winter Heat,” Miller’s 38th big-screen tribute to the joy of skiing, will show this week at four San Diego locations. Featuring top skiers such as former U.S. Olympic team member Andy Mills, “Winter Heat” combines adventure and comedy on skis.

The movie ranges from professional and telemark racing to deep powder, big bumps, cliff jumping and dirt skiing on lava beds. There are also segments displaying horse racing on ice, bobsledding and windsurfing.
