Detroit Lions rookie defensive end Reggie Rogers rejoined the team after a three-week stay at a counseling center for emotional problems. The nature of Rogers’ problems has not been specified, but he has had a series of family problems in the last 18 months.
They include the death of his older brother, Don, a Cleveland Browns safety, who died of a cocaine overdose; his mother’s ill health and the disappearance of his sister, Jackie, in October. His sister showed up later, saying she went away to settle personal problems.
