2 Games Suspended After Roofs Leak
Two Valley high school basketball games were suspended Friday because of the torrential rains that struck the Southland.
The Poly-Chatsworth boys game at Poly High and the North Hollywood-Notre Dame girls game at North Hollywood High were stopped because water leaking through gym roofs made playing conditions unsafe.
Poly led, 33-26, with 5:56 left in the third quarter, and North Hollywood led, 12-9, with 1:28 left in the first quarter when the games were suspended.
Both games are expected to be continued next week.
