Easygo Effort Takes Golden State Futurity

Easygo Effort, a 15-1 longshot, held off El Fasto to win the $611,000 Golden State Futurity for 2-year-old quarter horses by a neck Saturday night at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Easygo Effort, ridden by Bruce Pilkenton, covered 400 yards in 19.87 seconds and paid $32.60, $8.60 and $6.80.
