Search teams found the wreckage of a Philippine Airlines turboprop plane with 15 people aboard that disappeared the day before on a flight from Cebu City to Mindanao island, but there was no immediate word on any survivors, the airline said. An airline spokesman said the wreckage was found about 15 miles north of Iligan City, where it was scheduled to land. The cause of the crash was not clear, but thunderstorms were reported in the area. Most of the passengers were believed to be Filipinos. The airline has four of the twin-engine SD-360 aircraft, leased from Jet-Prop of Ireland and used for short flights in the central Visayas islands and Mindanao.
