Linebacker Brian Bosworth of the Seattle Seahawks says he isn’t having much fun in professional football.
“So far, I’ve probably had zero amount of fun playing the game that I’m supposed to have the most fun in my life playing,” the 22-year-old rookie said in an interview with the Washington Post.
“I have asked myself why and I’ve asked dear and close friends why. And there’s really no answer. . . . I don’t know the answer. . . . After contemplating the question over several weeks, I know it’s not my fault.”
Bosworth’s complaints range from the 24-day player strike that he says threw his game off, to his teammates, to the position he plays. He also said that his relationship with most of his teammates is distant.
