The New York Giants placed defensive end Leonard Marshall on injured reserve, making him the second All-Pro defensive linemen lost to the team for the season.
Marshall suffered a dislocated left wrist while making a tackle during Sunday’s 27-24 loss to St. Louis. Giant Coach Bill Parcells said Marshall underwent surgery Monday to put the dislocated wrist back in place and remains hospitalized.
Pro Bowl nose tackle Jim Burt was lost for the season with a back injury two weeks ago.
