Community College Basketball : Pagett Gets 100th Coaching Victory

Rancho Santiago College defeated the Tustin Marines, 99-85, Tuesday in a men’s nonconference basketball game at Rancho Santiago to give Coach Dana Pagett his 100th career victory.
Pagett, who started at Rancho Santiago in 1982, has a record of 100-74.
Charles Guibord led Rancho Santiago (11-4) with 19 points and teammates Alonzo Jamison and Chris Martin scored 12 each. Rancho Santiago led at the half, 60-30.
In the Los Angeles Valley tournament:
San Diego City 90, Orange Coast 86--David Miles scored 31 points for Orange Coast, which lost in one semifinal.
OCC (11-7) plays Southwestern at 6 tonight for third place.
In women’s nonconference play:
Orange Coast 52, Chaffey 47--Kim Ellerman scored 19 points and Nina Hansen 10 for Orange Coast, which won at home.
