A 74-year-old San Diego woman was killed Tuesday after her car and another collided on Federal Boulevard in Southeast San Diego.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, died at UC San Diego Medical Center, apparently of injuries suffered in the crash, according to San Diego police.
No one else was injured in the accident, which occurred about 4:30 p.m. near 47th Street when a car pulled out of a parking lot and collided with the victim’s vehicle.
Paramedics took her to the hospital, and San Diego police were investigating the accident.
