Culver City : Museum Plan Approved
The City Council voted unanimously Monday to accept the donation of the Witch’s Cottage to house a museum that will include movie memorabilia.
The house, built in Culver City in 1921 as the Willat Movie Studio, was moved to Beverly Hills five years later because its unusual design caused a traffic hazard.
The City Council’s staff is studying four possible sites for the museum, which will be run by the Culver City Historical Society.
