Magic Johnson, who suffered a slight groin strain early in the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 111-100 victory over Utah Tuesday night, is expected to play tonight against the Kings, who have lost 33 straight games to the Lakers, including playoffs.

Sacramento has been beaten twice by the Lakers this season, most recently on Dec. 23, when the Lakers outscored the Kings, 67-36, in the middle two periods. Johnson was the leading scorer in both Laker wins with 26 points in each game, while A.C. Green averaged 12 rebounds.

The Kings (11-27) have the worst record in the Midwest Division but have won their last two games.
