A woman died Thursday after being found nude and unconscious on the living-room floor of her North Park home, police said.
Police reported receiving a call from her estranged husband advising them to check on her.
Police checked the apartment in the 4000 block of Iowa Street shortly before 11 p.m. and found Irene Lorraine Truttman unconscious, with cuts and bruises on her body.
Truttman was then taken to Mercy Hospital, where she died at 11:34 p.m, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
The victim’s husband, Paul T. Truttman, 38, of the 1900 block of Broadway, was arrested and is being held in County Jail on suspicion of murder.
