The latest showcase for kitchen products has opened at 25385 Crenshaw Blvd. at Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance. It is operated by Whirlpool Kitchens Inc., Englewood, Colo. Ellen Cheever, is director of marketing services for the company, said that Whirlpool Kitchens seeks to provide good design to all price ranges.

A session entitled Kitchens for the ‘80s will be presented Saturday at GMA Kitchen & Bath Center, 2327 Federal Ave., West Los Angeles, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The center is just north of Pico Boulevard, between Sawtelle Boulevard and Barrington Avenue. The program will feature free consultations on kitchen design, according to GMA’s Mike Hartstein.

Residents of Pasadena and adjacent communities might find what they’re looking for at Kitchens by Stewart, 698 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena. This firm, owned by Stewart Fair, also sponsors kitchen remodeling seminars. Information on these seminars can be obtained from the firm’s Debby Calkins.
