San Diego
A 57-year-old man was found stabbed to death Tuesday afternoon in an open field in North Park, authorities said.
The body of William Robinson, a Coronado land developer, was found by a friend at 3:10 p.m., about 70 feet north of the intersection of Juniper Street and Pentuckett Avenue, San Diego County Deputy Coroner Cal Vine said.
The preliminary cause of Robinson’s death was listed as “stabbing by another person,” Vine said.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident, a San Diego police spokesman said. No suspects are in custody.
