Man Injured in Boat Collision

A 39-year-old man was listed in fair condition at UC San Diego Medical Center late Friday after he was injured in a boat collision off Shelter Island. Jay Fallon suffered facial injuries after the motorboat he was riding in slammed into an vessel anchored at the end of Shelter Island, near the Bali Hai Restaurant, at 7:13 p.m., said a spokesman for the Harbor Police.
