Holes in One Made on Consecutive Swings
Jim Poole and Lloyd Hardy recorded back-to-back holes in one Friday during the Golden State Senior Amateur Tournament on The Links at Monarch Beach.
Poole, a 7-handicapper from Westminster, used a 6-wood to ace the 198-yard 13th hole. Hardy, a 4-handicapper from Tustin, followed with a 5-iron.
Both shots hit the front of the green and rolled about 15 feet into the cup. Hardy shot 72 to win the tournament. Poole finished with an 80.
