Pair Arrested in Santa Ana Stabbing Death
Two Santa Ana men were arrested on murder charges Saturday in the stabbing death of a man they had fought with, police said.
Santa Ana Police Lt. Earl Porter said officers responded to a call at 4:38 a.m. and discovered the unidentified victim dead on the corner of East 4th and Porter streets.
He said witnesses told police two men had fought with the victim before the stabbing. The two suspects--Jesus Obadian Trujillo, 18, and Gabriel Martinez Luna, 25--were arrested minutes later in the 700 block of East 5th Street.
Porter said the victim carried no identification and that a thorough search for his identity would have to be conducted.
The suspects were booked into the Orange County Jail, with bail set at $250,000 each.
