Bullet-Riddled Body Found in Newhall
A bicyclist riding along a scenic canyon road in Newhall on Thursday discovered the bullet-riddled body of a black man, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The body was found about 4:30 p.m. lying face-down beside Placerita Canyon Road, near Placerita Canyon State Park and about 3 miles east of the Antelope Valley Freeway, Deputy Roger Hom said.
The victim had not been identified, Hom said.
