Local News in Brief : Countywide : Transportation Corridor Impact Report Available
An environmental impact report for the Eastern Transportation Corridor is now available for review at local libraries.
The Eastern Transportation Corridor will provide an additional freeway east of, and roughly parallel with, the Costa Mesa Freeway and extend from the Riverside Freeway near Gypsum Canyon Road to Interstate 5.
The draft of the environmental impact report examines several alignment alternatives for the project. The freeway will be 12 to 23 miles long, depending on the alignment selected.
Written comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report will be accepted until March 21.
