A Memorable Vacation

We’ve recently returned from the Kay El Bar ranch, Wickenburg, Ariz., and it was even more enjoyable than Jerry Hulse wrote in “Wickenburg: The Old West” (Jan. 17). Jan and Jane, the delightful owners; Charlie and Jay, their husbands who joined us for dinner each evening; the girls, Lori and Sherry; Carolyn, who cooked those wonderful meals; Dave, the ranch foreman who suited each of us to the right horse, and Gary, who took us over the beautiful country . . . all of them made it a memorable stay. We must mention also those beautiful golden retrievers who love people and who are such great flatterers. We hope to return next year.
