Former St. John’s basketball player Billy Goodwin said player agent Lance Jay Luchnick provided him with $6,000 in cash and gifts throughout his four-year college career, according to a report in Newsday.
“Once he took me to a (Houston) Rockets’ game,” Goodwin told the paper. “Everything was, ‘I’m your agent. I’m your No. 1 fan. I’m the No. 1 agent in America. You’re the No. 1 basketball player in America. And Lance and Billy are going to be together a long time. We’re going to make a lot of money.’ ”
