What’s David Letterman doing in the Movies category? Well, “Late Night With . . .” fans, Letterman’s not abandoning his late-night show, but he is making a move toward bigger screens--specifically with Walt Disney Pictures. Disney announced Wednesday that Letterman has entered into a multiple picture agreement to star in and develop three motion pictures in the next three years, thereby “launching his film career,” as Disney Chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg put it. Does this mean “Stupid Pet Tricks: The Movie” or “Dave’s Big Adventure”? Letterman could not be reached for comment, but his attorney, Ron Elberger, did say: “Let’s put it this way . . . Shakespeare is definitely out of the question.”
