Magnolia Athletic Director to Retire

Tom Noel of Magnolia High School will retire as athletic director and teacher, effective at the end of the school year.

Noel has been the athletic director at Magnolia for 19 years and has been a physical education teacher at the school for 27 years.

“I’ve been teaching for 32 years and just want to do something else, like play golf,” Noel said.

In the past, Noel has coached football, track and tennis at Magnolia.
