Local News in Brief : Santa Clarita to Name Logo Contest Winner

The winner of the city of Santa Clarita’s logo contest will be announced at Thursday’s City Council meeting.
Five finalists are vying for the $500 prize and the chance to see their design on the stationery of the new city. The finalists are Michael Warzocha, Julie Parmann and John (Doc) Elliot of Santa Clarita; Lynda Hildebrand of Saugus, and Todd Cooper of Green Valley.
