Anaheim police will start passing out handbills today in an attempt to find a 32-year-old mentally impaired man who was lost at Disneyland Friday afternoon.

Cornell Emmet Douglass of the San Bernardino suburb of Muscoy was traveling through Disneyland with a group of handicapped people from the Adult Learning Center in Fontana when he became separated from the group at about 4:00 p.m. Friday, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. John Kolbo.

Douglass was last seen about 10 minutes later traveling southbound on West Street, he said.

The handbills, containing Douglass’ picture as well as his general description, will be distributed throughout the Disneyland area, Kolbo said.

Douglass is black, has a short “natural” haircut, is about 6 feet tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has a pronounced overbite, Kolbo said. He is an epileptic. When last seen, Douglass was wearing navy blue pants, a brown, long-sleeve shirt, a long pullover sweater and brown shoes, he said.

Police requested anyone with information about Douglass to call them at (714) 999-1900.
