Body of Man Found in Imperial Beach
The badly decomposed body of a Hispanic male was found Monday morning floating in a slough near Ream Field in Imperial Beach, authorities said.
The unidentified victim, between 40 and 50 years old, was discovered at 9:03 a.m. in Border Field State Park by a Navy pilot practicing landings and takeoffs in the area, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
The victim, clad in a red shirt and blue jeans, was found face down a mile east of Ream Field. Authorities said that the body had been in the slough five to seven days.
