Move over, Wally George. Morton Downey Jr., whose New York talk show was recently described in Daily Variety as “TV’s version of the Inquisition,” is coming to Los Angeles on KABC-TV in June. “Downey” as yet has no firm time-slot, but a spokesman connected with the show said the tough-talking grill-sergeant may find a place after Ted Koppel’s “Nightline.”
