In the First Place, It’s Baseball That’s to Blame

Share

The game of baseball has its rules and regulations just like many other sports. The play in last Saturday’s game between Cincinnati and the New York Mets was so close that umpire Dave Pallone hesitated before rendering his decision, which caused an argument with Pete Rose. The argument was so bad that Pete Rose was thrown out of the game and was suspended for 30 days.

The powers that be in baseball should adopt a rule that when a play is this close, an instant replay can be viewed. This would eliminate the kinds of arguments that see people being thrown out of games.
