Final Day to Register for Primary Vote

Today is the final day to register to vote in the June 7 California primary.

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters’ office, the San Diego city clerk’s office, 7-Eleven stores throughout the county and other locations will be open until midnight to accept voter registrations.

Persons who are new U.S. citizens or who will be 18 by June 7 must register in order to vote in next month’s primary, County Registrar Conny McCormack said. In addition, persons who have moved since they last voted or who want to change their political party affiliation must re-register.

The places that will be open until midnight to accept registrations include:

- The county voter registrar’s office, 5201 Ruffin Road.

- The San Diego city clerk’s office, in the lobby of City Hall, 202 C St.

- The Escondido Fire Department, 310 N. Quince St.

- The La Mesa Police Department, 8181 Allison Ave.

- The National City city clerk’s office, 1243 National City Blvd.

- The Oceanside Police Department, 1617 Mission Avenue.

- The Poway City Council chambers, 13325 Civic Center Drive.

- The Santee city clerk’s office, 10765 Woodside Ave.

- All 7-Eleven stores.
