Since Sunday, KTTV Channel 11 and KNBC Channel 4 have been airing special multipart mini-docs on alien visitors from outer space, even though none have been reported recently in local airspace. Hint 2: NBC’s lavish, frightening science-fiction miniseries “Something Is Out There” and a week of outer space movies on KTTV’s 8 p.m. movie.
