Here is the Air/Space America schedule of weekend activities:

Saturday and Sunday, May 14 and 15.

8:00 a.m.: Ground displays, marching bands, marching units; gyroplane demonstration.

9:00 a.m.: Brown Field closes to regular air traffic. Demonstration by as-yet-unidentified military aircraft.

9:05 a.m.: First Formula 1 heat.

9:30 a.m.: Second Formula 1 heat.

10:00 a.m.: Opening ceremony, military flyby, flag jump.

10:30 a.m.: Third Formula 1 heat.

10:50 a.m.: U.S.S.R. Mi-34.

11:05 a.m.: Jim Franklin’s UPF-7 “Waco”.

11:25 a.m.: “Team America,” flying SIAI Marchettis.

11:45 a.m.: U.S. Navy F-14.

12:05 p.m.: Jim Franklin, “Dueling Wacos.”

12:30 p.m.: KC-135E tanker, U.S. Air Force F-106.

12:40 p.m.: Craig Hosking, Pitts S2H.

12:55 p.m.: NASA QSRA demonstration.

1:15 p.m.: Bob Hoover, “Sabre Liner.”

1:35 p.m.: Canadian Snowbirds takeoff, CT-134 flyby.

10:50 a.m.: Jim Franklin, solo UPF-7 “Waco.”

11:10 a.m.: U.S.S.R. Mi-34.

11:30 a.m.: Concorde flyby and landing.

11:40 a.m.: Team America.

Noon: Third Formula 1 heat.

12:20 p.m.: KC-10 or KC-135E.

12:30 p.m.: U.S. Air Force F-15.

12:40 p.m.: U.S.S.R. Su-26M.

12:55 p.m.: Concorde taxi and takeoff.

1:05 p.m.: Bob Hoover, “Sabre Liner.”

1:25 p.m.: U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds

2:35 p.m.: John Helton, A-3 Cub.

2:55 p.m.: Concorde flyby and landing.

All aerial displays are contingent upon weather conditions. Formula 1 heats may be rescheduled. Availability of military aircraft dependent upon prior commitments.

Tickets at the gate are $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 7 through 14. Tickets ordered before the show through Ticketron are half-price, according to a show spokesman. Parking available at the field for $5.

Air/Space America will operate shuttles to and from the field. In Mission Valley, shuttles will operate from the Holiday Inn, Doubletree Hotel and Town & Country Hotel; from Mission Bay, the Hyatt Islandia; La Jolla, the Embassy Suites Hotel; downtown, the Marriott; Chula Vista, the Otay Valley Travel Lodge and Otay Valley Roadway Inn. The charge is $2 each way.
