Slain Man Found Behind Old Globe
The body of a man with his throat slashed was found Sunday night at a rear entrance to the Old Globe Theatre, a San Diego police spokesman said.
The body was discovered by a Balboa Park security guard on a routine check at 7:15 p.m., Sgt. Jim Long said. The victim was in a small building at a new construction site at the Village Park entrance to the theater, according to Long.
The victim was described as a white male, about 35 years old. Police said they have no witnesses and no suspects, and know no motive for the crime.
