Derk Zimmerman has been named president and chief executive of Group W Productions, New York, a subsidiary of Westinghouse. Zimmerman previously was president and chief operating officer of Fox Television Stations. Zimmerman succeeds Edwin T. Vane, who retired for personal reasons late in 1987.
