Chairman of L.B. Transit Board Reelected
Joseph T. Brooks has been reelected chairman of the Long Beach Transit Board of Directors. Other officers are Arthur Levine, reelected vice chairman; George Medak, secretary-treasurer; and John Allen, assistant secretary. Others on the seven-member board, appointed by the mayor and City Council of Long Beach to set policy for the public bus agency, are Roger Reyburn, Shirley Saltman and Larry Gillespie. Brooks joined the local transit board in January, 1984, and has become its representative to Region 6 of the American Public Transit Assn.
