A 26-year-old Santee woman died Friday morning of injuries she suffered Thursday night when the motorcycle she was riding smashed into the rear of a disabled vehicle.
Deborah Sue Newbold of 10121 Beck Drive died of unspecified injuries at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla at 10:55 a.m., a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.
Newbold, riding a motorcycle without a helmet, had drifted to the right side of an exit ramp linking westbound California 52 to Genesee Avenue, where she struck the rear of the vehicle, the spokeswoman said.
