Michael Arms, serving a 15-year sentence in the Oregon State Penitentiary for burglary, will not be allowed to fight Pinklon Thomas Monday night in a heavyweight bout before the Mike Tyson-Michael Spinks championship bout at Atlantic City, N.J.
Arms, 36, was to fight Thomas in a scheduled 10-round match. Prison Superintendent Fred Maas refused Arms a temporary pass, a prison spokesman said.
