A man with a gunshot wound in his head was found outside the Lucky Lady bar in San Diego shortly after midnight Saturday. He died 12 hours later at UC San Diego Medical Center.

Homicide detectives and coroner’s officials have been unable to identify the shooting victim, and no suspects have been found.

San Diego Police were summoned to the bar, 455 16th St., at 12:33 a.m. by an anonymous caller, said police spokesman Dave Cohen. When they arrived, they found the victim in the parking lot, in critical condition. Homicide investigators believe the man was shot inside the bar, then moved outside, Cohen said.
