For Michael Jackson, the show in Britain will go on--even without his constant primate companion, Bubbles. Jackson said through a CBS Records spokesman that he would comply with British quarantine laws banning his pet chimpanzee from the country. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food said it insisted there could be no exception to its rules--”not even for important show business stars”--that animals entering the country must be caged for six months to prove them disease-free. And there’s not enough time for that: Jackson’s British tour begins July 14.
