No One Hits Lottery Jackpot; Prize Now Grows to $18 Million
No one successfully picked six numbers in Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 game, swelling the jackpot for the Wednesday game to an estimated $18 million, lottery officials announced Sunday.
There were three people, however, who picked five numbers plus the bonus and each won $616,345.
Those tickets were sold at the Quik Stop Market, 10 San Felipe Road, Hollister; the 7-Eleven store, 9464 Baseline Drive, Alta Loma, and the 7-Eleven store, 103 S. Harbor Blvd., Santa Ana.
There were 233 people who picked five numbers correctly and each won $3,904, while 11,944 picked four numbers and won $72 each and 238,054 picked three numbers and won an automatic $5 each.
The winning numbers were 24, 45, 37, 47, 46 and 26 and the bonus number 1.
Lottery spokesman John Schade said the three tickets that had five of six winning numbers plus the bonus were picked by the computer.
