It’s Easier to Write Letters Than Play Golf

Share

These chest-beaters who maintain that golf isn’t a sport (July 2)--you know they speak from experience because you’ve probably seen them on the course. These are the oafs with the huge egos and puny golf swings who usually hold up play in front of you because they can’t drive a golf ball straight the length of a football field but who, on every hole, wait in the fairway for the green to clear 250 yards in front of then, then dink the ball seven or eight more times before getting out of the way.

Personally, I’d rather read their stupid letters than watch their futile attempts to play the sport.
