Fire Near Castaic Lake Claims 160 Acres
A fire consumed more than 160 acres of brush near Castaic Lake Saturday before it was contained by about 150 Los Angeles County firefighters, fire officials said.
The blaze, which threatened no homes, began about noon near the the intersection of the Golden State Freeway and Templin Highway.
It was extinguished in about four hours, officials said.
