Longshots Sweep Both Divisions of Osunitas

Irish-bred Choritzo, ridden by Russell Baze, set a stakes record of 1:41 2/5 for 1 1/16 miles on the Del Mar turf Saturday in winning the $64,975 second division of the Osunitas Handicap by a neck over My Virginia Reel, ridden by Gary Stevens.
Griefnaggrevation, a Florida-bred with Rafael Meza aboard, won the $65,575 first division by two lengths over Daloma and Bill Shoemaker in 1:42 1/5.
Choritzo paid $13.80 to win, Griefnaggrevation $35.80.
