Rumor du Jour: The Rolling Stones just might get back together, again. Veteran lead singer Mick Jagger told reporters in London on Monday that various (and unnamed) Stones members were shooting for 1989 as the reunion date. The band, who celebrated the 25th anniversary of their first single two months ago, last toured together in 1982 and mostly have worked apart (with varying degrees of success) since then. When asked by a female reporter what the essential element of the Stones reunion might be, Jagger didn’t miss a beat and replied: “Pleasure, my darling.”
