Cal Thomas on ‘Christ’ Film

You have in the past printed some ridiculous articles but I can’t remember one as incredulous as this non-thinking nonsense by someone called Maurice Ogden. He obviously does not understand the protest against the movie “The Last Temptation of Christ.” Does Ogden think that Nikos Kazantzakis, the author of the book, was inside Christ’s head when he was on the cross to know just what Christ was thinking? I don’t think so.

The point is this movie is a fictional misrepresentation of historical and Biblical facts. We already have an account of Jesus from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We don’t need Kazantzakis, Martin Scorsese, and Lew Wasserman to rewrite the Gospels and distort them in the process.
