Share

The third annual Randy Martin fishing tournament is under way on the Redondo pier.

The event, sponsored by the Redondo Pier Assn., is open to all anglers and will end at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

The tournament was started three years ago by sportsman Randy Martin who, when he isn’t casting a line off the pier, works as a sergeant with the Redondo Beach Police Department.

Only game fish will be considered for tournament winners.

All fish must be caught from the pier and weighed at the pier’s fish market and certified as to weight and type.
